Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has told young winger Callum Hudson-Odoi that he needs to improve despite his impressive cameo against Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev in the first leg of their Europa League last 16th tie on Thursday night.

In his post-match press conference after the Dynamo Kiev game, Italian tactician Sarri revealed that Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is not ready to be a star.

Callum Hudson-Odoi came off the bench to wrap up a convincing 3-0 win over the Ukrainians at Stamford Bridge.

He was a 78th-minute substitute for Willian.

England junior international Hudson-Odoi found the back of the net on the stroke of full-time.

Pedro had earlier given Chelsea a 1-0 lead before the aforementioned Willian added a second goal for the home side thereby paving the Callum Hudson-Odoi to complete the scoring.

The win was enough to take Chelsea to the brink of a quarterfinal spot in the Europa League.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has become frustrated with the lack of playing time at Chelsea amidst the strong interest from German champions Bayern Munich.

The Bavarian giants made several bids to sign the player during the winter transfer window but Chelsea were able to rebuff their interest.

They are expected to return with another bid in the summer when Hudson-Odoi will have just one year left on his current Chelsea deal.
