According to new reports, Liverpool have told their star player Philippe Coutinho that they will listen to offers for him from La Liga giants Barcelona when January comes.

The Brazilian player was heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer amid serious interest from the Catalan giants, and while he was keen on making the move to Camp Nou after submitting a transfer request to the Merseyside club, Liverpool refused to do business with Barca in the summer and repeatedly turned down bids for him.

The Spanish club are understood to have made three huge bids for the samba star, but his club refused to change their stance of ‘he is going nowhere this summer’ and never wavered from their position.

Phil has now been reintegrated into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team and he featured in their 3-2 win over Leicester City on Saturday, scoring an astonishing goal in the game.

However, Spanish outlet Sport insists Countiho has not given up on a move to Camp Nou and that he is now looking at how things will be when the winter transfer window opens.

His representatives are said to have held talks with club officials in Boston and have reiterated their interest to move to Camp Nou.

And Jurgen Klopp’s side are said to have indicated to Phil that they will re-open the means of communication with Barca and will even consider their offer when the winter transfer window opens.
