Liverpool identify talented Lucas Paqueta star as an alternative to Nabil Fekir

Liverpool are one of the biggest spenders in the premier league this summer so far.

Club manager Jurgen Klopp has been very busy in the ongoing window and has splashed hugely to bring four players down to Anfield.

In his attempt to transform the club into a European powerhouse next season, the Merseysiders have signed Fabinho (from Monaco), Naby Keita (from RB Leipzig), Xherdan Shaqiri (from Stoke City) and Alisson Becker (from AS Roma) already this summer.

But it appears he will sign one more before the closure of the window.

There are some claims that the Anfield club are interested in signing Lucas Paqueta from Corinthians.

Tutto Mercato Web made it known that Klopp’s side are interested in the 20-year-old due to his impressive performances in recent times.

The Brazilian midfielder has been superb for Corinthians and has caught the attention of various football lovers across the globe.

In 13 league games, he has scored four times and provided an assist.

It was also added that Lucas could become Liverpool’s alternative for Nabil Fekir, although Klopp must act fast if he is to win the race for the player’s signature (because a handful of clubs are interested in signing him)

Paqueta is a versatile player who can effectively play as a central midfielder or on the right-hand side of the park.
