According to reports, Arsenal are set to join the transfer race to land Hamburg starlet Josha Vagnoman.
Arsenal want young defender
The Sun is claiming that Arsenal have sent their head of player recruitment Sven Mislintat to closely watch the 17-year-old attacker.
As per the same story, the gunners have been closely monitoring the Hamburg wonderkid who has been tagged one of Germany’s hottest prospects.
However, the same report reveals that Arsenal will face stiff competition from English Premier League giants Chelsea FC and leaders Manchester City for Josha Vagnoman.
Bayern also linked with youngster
German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich are being linked with a switch for the exciting defender.
The 17-year-old has played for the Germany Under-17 side at left and right back to underline his versatility at the back.
All the interested clubs will be intrigued to know that the German side haven’t tied down the youngster to a professional deal.
Arsenal planning for the future
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has an eye on the future after he brought in a promising defender in the winter transfer window.
The North London outfit brought in 20-year-old Greek international defender Konstantinos Mavropanos from Greek side PAS Gianina in January after some promising displays in Greece.
The Gunners lost 1-0 to North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium last weekend after Harry Kane’s winning goal on Saturday.
