Chelsea keen on Blanc
The Daily Mail is claiming that Chelsea are pondering on the retired France international as a possible successor to Antonio Conte.
The same report says that Laurent Blanc could be an alternative option to former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri if Chelsea are unable to the tactician.
As per the same report, the former France boss is a leading contender to succeed Antonio Conte at the West London club.
The Blues finished in the fifth spot in the English Premier League log to miss out on a UEFA Champions League place for the second period in three terms.
Reinforcement required at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea were 1-0 winners against rivals Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium after Belgium international playmaker Eden Hazard netted a first-half winning goal from the spot.
The west London outfit have won the English Premier League title twice in his past four campaign, including their title triumph under Antonio Conte in the 2016-17 season.
The Blues will take part in the UEFA Europa League next season irrespective of whether manager Antonio Conte or Laurent Blanc is in charge.
