Five-time European champions Liverpool have to contend with the threat of two European clubs in their quest to sign in-form Portuguese international player Bruno Fernandes who plays for Sporting Lisbon FC of Portugal at the moment.
The threat of the two European clubs was revealed by Portuguese media outlet Record.
It was revealed that Italian Serie A giants AC Milan and Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also keen on the player who has a release clause of €100m at Portuguese Super League giants Sporting Lisbon.
Other Premier League sides like Chelsea and Manchester United were heavily linked with a move for Bruno Fernandes during the recently ended January transfer window but nothing came out of those transfer links.
The Liverpool midfield has been questioned on several occasions this season and Bruno Fernandes has shown that he could add more quality to the Reds team.
The 24-year-old has been one of the standout players in the Portuguese top flight this term.
He has found the back of the net on 11 occasions in addition to seven assists in just 21 league games this season.
In total, Portuguese national team player Bruno Fernandes has scored 17 goals and seven assists in 34 games in all competitions.
