Emre Can’s future at Liverpool is not yet certain as he is yet to sign a new contract at Anfield.
The midfielder ended the 2016/17 campaign on a good note and will look to continue with his nice form this new season. However, his current contract at Anfield will expire next summer whie Liverpool are treading carefully on the issue.
The German star has become an important member in the club, and they risk losing him on a free transfer next year if he failed to agree to terms to a new deal. They also have the opportunity to sell him before the end of this summer transfer window.
Liverpool’s main desire is to give him a new deal which would extend his stay at the club. But few clubs are interested in signing him this summer, one of which is Italian heavyweights Juventus.
The player has emerged as a target for the Serie A champions this summer, and Corriere dello Sport are reporting that the Champions League finalists are now offering the reds €25m for his signature.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the player is now Juventus priority and are keen on bringing him into Turin before the end of this summer transfer window.
However, their bid still falls short of the reds alleged €30m valuation of Emre.
