Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is not regretting his decision of not telling any of the club’s shot-stoppers that he is signing Alisson this summer.
The Merseysiders recently splashed some whopping £66 Million to make Alisson the most expensive goalkeeper in football history, but Loris Karius made it known publicly that he was’t told beforehand of the plan.
But when asked about Loris’ comments some hours ago, manager Jurgen Klopp emphasised that he isn’t under any obligation to tell any of his players about his plans to sign someone else.
Karius will no longer be Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper, and he has some days left to find a new club – unless if he won’t mind sitting on the bench at Anfield.
Nevertheless, we believe the best decision Loris can make this summer is to leave Merseyside on loan and should move to a side that can help him regain his confidence.
It is very much obvious that he lacks confidence in-between the posts as a result of the intense gaze from various quarters. His lack of confidence was glaring throughout the pre-season friendlies – in which he had made two mistakes so far.
However, should he depart Anfield, then manager Jurgen Klopp must sign another average goalie to act as a backup for Alisson.
