Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has given an update on his future amidst transfer rumours linking him with a move to the Premier League with clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Senegalese international star spoke to Rai Sport about those transfer reports as he said that he’s flattered with the interest from many clubs.
Koulibaly further said that his focus is to continue to do well for his Italian Serie A side.
The 27-year-old has grown to be a key player for Napoli since he joined the club from Belgian top flight club Genk.
Kalidou Koulibaly is widely regarded as one of the best centre backs in world football and he has been the subject of interest from English top flight sides like Chelsea and Manchester United.
Recent reports claim that Manchester United had two bids rejected for him towards the end of last year.
The player was linked with Chelsea last summer when Maurizio Sarri replaced compatriot Antonio Conte as the Blues manager.
Several Chelsea fans had thought that Kalidou Koulibaly will follow Italian tactician Sarri to London just like Jorginho who signed for the Blues in a £57m deal at the start of the season but he eventually stayed with Napoli for this campaign.
