Juventus have made concrete efforts to sign estranged Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.
The Serie Champions have been linked with a move to the Chilean star who has stalled on renewing his contract at the Emirates, but reports in the Corriere dello Sport claim Juve have now made submitted an official bid for Sanchez.
The reports claim that Sporting directors Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici has made known to the Gunners the willingness of Juventus to sign the former Barcelona forward and has made an initial bid of €30m (£25m).
However, the stipulated fee may seem too small for a player of his status but his current contract situation leaves Arsenal is a risky situation and the Italian giants are hoping they will let go of their star-man for a cut-price. Juventus are understood to remained keen on signing Sanchez since his days at Udinese before his move to Barcelona.
Alexis Sanchez has less than 18 months on his current deal with the Gunners have remained on the headlines due to the uncertainty over his future. Inter Milan are also said to be hot on chase for the Chilean and might lure him with the largess expected to be part of the takeover at the end of the season.
