Jean Seri snubs Chelsea and Arsenal to complete Fulham transfer.
Fulham have allegedly won the transfer race to complete the move of Nice ace Jean Seri ahead of speculated Premier League suitors Chelsea and Arsenal.
Midfielder seek London move
The Ivorian was suggested by journalist Nabil Djellit as cited by Daily Star to have been in the City of London during the week for transfer negotiations, with the Gunners and the Blues mentioned as sides based in the Capital City that he’d been in contact with.
The midfielder has been one of the best performers in the French Ligue 1 in the last few seasons and looks like a footballer most top side would want to sign, but Gianluca Di Marzio now suggests his transfer to Fulham is now a done deal.
Fulham lead race
The newly-promoted London club may well have executed something very impressive, though formal confirmation of the transfer is yet to emerge.
Signing Seri, 26, would be a genuine statement by West London club Fulham as they try to establish themselves in the English Premier League once again after a four-year absence from the top flight.
Beating off top club competition to such a decent player would be massive for the side’s hopes of survival in the English top flight and possibly even give them a good opportunity of breaking into the Premier League top half.
