Newly appointed Arsenal manager Unai Emery will be looking to seal his mark on the team this summer transfer window, and that in turn has led to a rumour over possible targets.
Reinforcement required at Arsenal
The new manager will inherit a talented team from departed boss Arsene Wenger, but one that has greatly underachieved in the past two campaigns as they’ve slipped off the top four in the English Premier League.
Emery will hope to reinforce the team with quality players, and that has made The Daily Mail include a possible loan move for FC Barcelona youngster Ousmane Dembele as part of the new recruitment drive.
Barcelona star linked with Arsenal move
Dembele, 21, struggled in his first season with FC Barcelona, as he was limited to only 23 games due to injury problems and that in turn affected his ability to settle properly and adapt to the Catalan club’s style of play.
Considering that, a chance to play regular football next term under a manager like Unai Emery who will demand a relatively similar style of play, could be ideal for the young forward to rediscover his much-needed confidence and form, while FC Barcelona will hope the forward returns a stronger and better player.
