Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente wants to join Chelsea in January only if he is promised one thing by Antonio Conte, according to reports.
The Spain international has been linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge this January with reports that the Blues are considering a permanent or loan move for the 31-year-old striker as Conte eyes a reunion with him since their days at Juventus.
Reports in the Telegraph suggests Llorente is ready to complete a transfer to Chelsea as long as he is guaranteed a place only behind Diego Costa in the pecking order at the Bridge.
A deal is expected to go through and summer signing Michy Batshuayi is reported to be moving to the Liberty stadium after he has failed to nail a starting spot with the Blues.
However, there are indications that the 23-year-old striker is more interested in a move to West Ham because he prefers to stay in London over moving to Wales with Swansea.
Ahead of the January transfer window, Conte admitted: ‘It’s important to talk with my club for sure.
‘There are some positions that, if we are able to find a resolution, it’s important to take a good solution. It wont be easy but, for sure, we are talking about this.’
Batshuayi will hope to prove himself in the Premier League in order to convince Antonio Conte who had admitted he needs time to blend in the League.
