This Good News For Arsenal Fans Is A Bad One For Man United’s

Arsenal fans are not so happy losing Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United this month and are even more worried about the thoughts of losing Mesut Ozil too.

Ozil’s current contract at the Emirates Stadium will expire at the end of this season, and he will become a free man next summer.

The talented midfielder is not showing clear signs he will extend his stay at North London by putting pen to paper for a new deal, and he is currently free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.

However, according to new reports, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes the German will be persuaded to sign a new contract with his side before the end of the term.

The French manager is confident Arsenal’s show of ambition this month will influence the player’s next step.

Ozil has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United to reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. Both men worked together at Real Madrid some years back and were able to win some big trophies together.

Although the red devils recently signed Alexis Sanchez, there are speculations suggesting that Mourinho is still interested in bringing Ozil to Manchester.

On the other hand, Armenian star player Henrikh Mkhitaryan is now Arsenal’s, and the North Londoners are expected to complete a deal for Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang very soon.

Some Arsenal officials are currently in Germany and are working on a deal for the African superstar, and they are confident of getting his signature before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.

And according to The Evening Standard, Arsene Wenger believes Mesut will have a change of heart and will extend his stay at Arsenal if they can successfully lure Aubameyang to the Emirates Stadium.
