According to new reports, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is confident of signing one player, as the management push for a deal to sign a £44M attacker.
Ante Rebic has emerged as a target for the red devils, following claims that United are getting set to push for a deal that will bring him to Old Trafford before the close of the ongoing summer transfer window.
Jose Mourinho is not happy with his side’s transfer activity so far this summer. The major player the management had bought remains Brazilian midfielder Fred. Portuguese fullback Diogo Dalot is still a youngster with no much experience, while Lee Grant is coming in to become the third-choice goalie at the Theater of Dreams.
The red devils are still linked with various top players, and even Mourinho said he wants at least two more players before the start of the upcoming premier league campaign.
Although the former Chelsea boss said he doesn’t think his current side will be able to bring in more than one player this summer, he remains confident they will sign a new leg before next season.
While Manchester United have been linked with the likes of Ivan Perisic and Willian in recent times, it is believed that a new forward is on the agenda.
The Times are reporting that scouts from Old Trafford are urging their manager to sign Croatian international Ante Rebic.
The 24-year-old is currently at Eintracht Frankfurt, and it was added that the club will conduct a quick business with the red devils if they can get £44M
