Fabregas confirms formation change under Maurizio Sarri.
Following the departure of Antonio Conte and the arrival of Sarri Maurizio, the Blues are on the move to gain their recognition back this season after a poor performance last season.
As part of the new changes in the system, Former Napoli coach, Sarri Maurizio has changed the playing tactics and formation of the Blues.
Chelsea previously used the 3 – 4 – 3 formation under Antonio Conte but under Sarri, the Blues will now play using formation 4 – 3 – 3.
This, however, means the Blues will likely be playing much of a defensive game next season.
Although Antonio Conte and Sarri Maurizio are from the same country, Italy, the playing pattern and tactics of the two are wides apart.
Chelsea player, Cesc Fabregas, confirmed these new tactics to the press, who previously speculated the new formation.
The 4 – 3 – 3 formation is not new to Sarri as it was what he used at Napoli and other clubs he has once coached.
However, it is a new formation for the Blues and from the statement made by Fabregas, the players are willing to adapt to the new system.
The issue that comes with this new formation is if the Blues will be able to properly adapt with barely few weeks to go to the commencement of a new season.
