Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has disagreed with his critics as he told reporters that the Blues are having a good season.

Sarri has been heavily criticized this season for his style of play and the run of league results recorded by Chelsea in the current Premier League season especially away from home.

In his pre-match press conference ahead of the all-important league game with top-four rivals Manchester United, the Italian tactician said that Chelsea have had a good season.

The latest admission from Sarri won’t have gone down well with the Chelsea fans who are eager for the club to do well.

Earlier this year, Chelsea were dumped out of the FA Cup at the fifth round stage via a 2-0 home loss to Manchester United.

Chelsea then went on to lose to Manchester City on penalties in the Carabao Cup final.

The Blues are in the semifinals of the Europa League and they face a two-legged tie against German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Chelsea are also in the race to finish in the top four places on the Premier League table with three games to go.

They travel to take on top-four rivals Manchester United on Sunday evening before the home game against Watford and the final match of the season at Leicester City.
