According to reports, premier league side Man United are thinking about making a move to bring German midfielder Emre Can to Old Trafford from Anfield following a recent positive report from their chief scout.
Can will be out of contract next summer when his current deal with Liverpool expires at the end of this season, and the midfielder seems to have little interest in signing an extension to stay at Liverpool.
This means he will be leaving the Merseyside club for nothing next summer, which will be a great loss to the club.
And Italian news outlet Tuttosport made it known that Manchester United have been alerted about his availability as they look to add more quality to their midfield department next year.
It was said that Man United’s chief scout Javier Ribalta has been watching the German international closely and he his trying to persuade Emre to move to Old Trafford should he quit Anfield at the end of this season.
The talented player was strongly linked with Serie A side Juventus during the past summer transfer window, and the Italian champions are understood to be interested in signing him when his contract expires at Anfield.
Jose Mourinho will definitely need a new midfielder in his squad with both Micheal Carrick and Ander Herrera likely to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season when their contract expires.
