Napoli will permit Maurizio Sarri to named next Chelsea manager as long as the Italian tactician doesn’t raid the Serie A outfit for players, according to Italian media reports.
Chelsea set to land Italian tactician
Sport Italia, as cited by Metro, is claiming that Chelsea have eventually made a breakthrough in their chase of the ex-Napoli boss this summer window.
The same report states that the Blues have agreed to a special clause that would see Chelsea avoid raiding the Naples outfit for summer recruits should Maurizio Sarri take over at Stamford Bridge.
As per the same report, Napoli trio Raul Abiol, Elseid Hysaj, and Piotr Zielinski could all be lured to move to Stamford Bridge to seal a huge pay increase.
Club president worried
Sport Italia go on to suggest that Napoli Supremo Maurelio de Laurentiis is concerned about losing the three stars in the present transfer window should the tactician become the next Blues boss.
As a result, the Serie A side will ask the Premier League giants to enter into an agreement that would see them avoid landing Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly as well as Hysaj, Zielinksi and Albiol this summer transfer window.
The Blues finished in the fifth spot on the English Premier League log last season to miss out on UEFA Champions League football.
