Many Chelsea fans are wondering why Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is not playing Michy Batshuayi more often in this Costa’s goal-drought moments. And some are asking ‘Do Conte hates him?’
Batshuayi arrived at the west London club last summer for a fee that reportedly cost the Stamford Bridge club £33 million, and he has failed to make his mark in the first team this current campaign.
The 23-year-old star has only appeared on 17 occasions on the pitch for Chelsea and has made three appearances in the FA Cup.
He also featured in three EFL Cup games and managed to score five times in his few playing time. Last season when he was still at Marseille, he scored 17 goals for the French club in the Ligue 1 – which should prove his class. Still yet, the Italian manager do not seem to be much interested in him.
Even though Chelsea’s current number one forward Diego Costa has scored 17 times in the Premier League this season, he is yet to score again since March 6, and many Chelsea lovers are not taking things easy with him.
