Premier League: Rejuvenated Arsenal Forward Talks Up Title Challenge

Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi has fuelled talks of a Premier League title challenge for the Gunners following their recent league win over London rivals Fulham at the Craven Cottage on Sunday.

The Super Eagles star spoke about Arsenal and a potential title challenge after he helped his team to a comfortable 5-1 victory at the home of the newly promoted outfit.

According to him, the current winning run shows that the Gunners have the quality to challenge for the Premier League title.

Iwobi has found a new lease of life under Unai Emery since the Spanish tactician became the Arsenal manager in the summer.

He was the Gunners’ standout player in Thursday night’s 3-0 victory over Qarabag FC of Azerbaijan in the Europa League and he continued his good form against Fulham.

The Arsenal Academy graduate was impressive for the Gunners against the newcomers before he was replaced by contract rebel Aaron Ramsey in the 67th minute.

The win over Fulham took the North Londoners’ winning sequence to nine games.

The run has seen Arsenal record victories over teams like London rivals West Ham United, Welsh side Cardiff City, Vorskla Poltava FC of Ukraine, Newcastle United, Brentford, Everton, Watford, Qarabag and Fulham.
