Merseyside giants Everton are said to be interested in a summer move for Lyon attacker Bertrand Traore according to widespread reports emanating from the media in France.

According to Yahoo Sport France, Everton want to sign the former Chelsea player this summer as they try to boost their squad ahead of the new Premier League season which is scheduled to start on the 9th of August.

Everton will most certainly leave their squad in the forward positions and Bertrand Traore is one of their options.

The Toffees are yet to replace Romelu Lukaku since the Belgian all-time topscorer left the club for Manchester United in 2017 and Burkina Faso international Traore could be the man to replace him at Goodison Park.

Apart from Bertrand Traore, Fulham striker Aleksandr Mitrovic has also been linked with a summer transfer with Everton after the Serbian international suffered relegation from the Premier League with the Cottagers.

Bertrand Traore was a Chelsea player until the start of last season when he sealed a permanent transfer to French Ligue 1 giants Lyon.

He has scored six goals in 46 appearances for Lyon in all competitions this season with the Champions League campaigners close to securing another season in Europe’s premier club competition for next season.
