Napoli are keen on a deal to land defender David Luiz from Chelsea this summer, as per reports.

According to Italian media reports, Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti is preparing a £26million offer to complete the signing of Chelsea centre-half David Luiz this summer transfer window.

Italian publication Il Mattino, as cited by the Sun, is claiming that Carlos Ancelotti is planning a transfer raid on his former team to upgrade the Napoli backline.

The same report indicates that the Serie A side are looking to capitalise on talks with the Blues over Italian coach Maurizio Sarri to lure the South American to Naples this summer window.

Chelsea ready to sell defender this summer
As per the same report, the Blues would be ready to offload the Brazil international defender to free up some cash to seal a £35m transfer deal for defender Daniele Rugani.
