All have been concluded for Arsenal and Manchester City target Nicolas Pepe as far as the winter transfer window is concerned.
This is after the Ivory Coast international cooled all of the interest in him by stating that he would remain at the French Ligue 1 outfit Lille at the end of the season.
Nicolas Pepe has been a subject of speculation with a number of top European sides seeking to land him in the January winter transfer window and the Gunners were at the front queue to secure the signature of the star player.
However, they seem to have lost out alongside other suitors with Nicolas Pepe stating that he will remain with Lille until the end of the season and will not speak to any club at the moment.
Delay might not be denied for the North London side with the player admitting that anything can happen at the end of the season but that will only be discussed during the winter transfer window.
Howbeit, the Emirates Stadium team will have to look at other direction for the signature of a high quality winger that will help replace England international Danny Welbeck in the team.
Welbeck is out of the season as a result of an injury he sustained some months ago.
