Bayern Munich are set to snatch up Arsenal long term target and Ligue 1 star Nicolas Pepe.

The Lille forward is one of the hottest in the French league at the moment having scored 6 goals in nine Ligue 1 games this season in addition to the 6 assists he has offered in those games.

The player’s current form made it that the German side plan to lure him away from Arsenal’s side with a lucrative offer.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are also reported to be monitoring the 23-year-old striker having seen his play.

However, both English side might lose the player to Bayern who seems desperate and willing to strike a deal with Lille for the player in the January transfer market.

According to reports, the German side have scheduled to hold talks with the Lille in the coming week and are not deterred by the £30 million price tag placed on the player.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery who knows the player is reported to have hinted the club but it is unlikely they will be ready to play as much as £30 million on the player.

The likes of Barcelona, Everton and Sevilla have also shown interest in the player but they could be pushed aside by the price tag placed on the hot prospect.
