It has been revealed that North London outfit Arsenal are set to hand a new and improved offer to England international Rob Holding as a way of rewarding him for the good form.
Although Rob Holding has been out of action after suffering cruciate knee ligament injury since December last year, he was impressive at the start of the season and proved he has a big future at the club.
The 23-year-old had established a good relationship with Sokratis Papa before the retinue of captain Laurent Koscielny from injury in the early part of the season.
However, he is set to be offered a new deal with manager Unai Emery pushing the club for talks with the player.
There is no doubt that the absence of Rob Holding from the Arsenal team played a major role in their struggles this season as they are short of options, a development that has threatened their chances of a top-four finch for a Champions League football next season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have now returned to the fourth position after their 2-0 win over Southampton with Man United and Liverpool playing a 0-0 draw at the Old Trafford on Sunday.
The North London outfit are expected to make a big push for more additions in the coming summer transfer window.
