North London giants Arsenal have been linked with a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers skipper Conor Coady in the past few days.
The move for the Wolves defender has been backed by Arsenal legend Ian Wright who praised him for his performance in the Premier League meeting between the two sides at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season.
Conor Coady came through the ranks at Premier League leaders Liverpool before then Reds boss Brendan Rodgers sanctioned his sale to Huddersfield Town in 2014 immediately after he had finished a loan spell at Championship club Sheffield United.
He struggled in the Wolverhampton Wanderers midfield before club manager Nuno Espirito Santo changed his position to a center back.
The English defender has been the focal point of a three-man defense for Wolverhampton Wanderers since the start of last season when the Midlands club won promotion to the Premier League.
He has been a key performer for Wolves on their return to the Premier League leading to calls about a possible invitation to the England national team setup under manager Gareth Southgate.
Coady has also been linked with a move back to Liverpool who have had injury problems with their central defenders in recent weeks.
