Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic has emerged as the bookmakers’ favourites to join Chelsea when the transfer window reopens in the next few weeks.
According to bookmakers BetVictor, the United States of America international is most likely to join Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window ahead of the other Blues-linked players.
Christian Pulisic is odds-on favourite to join Chelsea at 4/6 ahead of former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake (2/1), Inter Milan centre back (5/2), Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi (4/1).
The 20-year-old forward has just 18 months left on his present contract with German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea are not the only team interested in the aforementioned Christian Pulisic who has also been linked with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool.
Widespread reports emanating from the British media claim that the player favours a move to Liverpool ahead of Chelsea or any other club.
It was further revealed that the player feels that a transfer to Chelsea might end up ruining his football career.
A fee of around £70m has been touted as what would be enough to force the hand of Borussia Dortmund into selling him in the mid-season transfer window scheduled for the New Year.
