Chelsea want Liverpool target after ending contract talks with Madrid-bound star

According to reports, Chelsea will table a bid for Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker after the West London club ended contract renewal talks with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Chelsea end contract talks

Sky Sports is claiming that Chelsea have grown increasingly frustrated with their protracted talks with the Belgium international goalkeeper.

The same reports say that the Blues have decided to end negotiations with the shot-stopper and will look at other potential options to replace Thibaut Courtois.

As per the same story, Chelsea are set to rival Merseyside club Liverpool for the signature of Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson in the summer window.

Roma reluctant to sell safe hand

Serie A side Roma are reluctant to offload the Brazilian safe hand given his increasing status as one of the best goalkeepers in the World.

The Serie A giants are believed to be prepared to demand about £80million for the 25-year-old goalie in the summer window.

Antonio Conte’s men finished in fifth position on the League log last term to miss out on a place in the UEFA Champions League for the second period in three campaigns.

However, they were 1-0 winners against rivals Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup final last month at Wembley thanks to Belgium playmaker Eden Hazard’s penalty in the first-half.
