Chelsea vs Liverpool: The Reds players ratings

Liverpool were saved by a dine minute goal from Daniel Sturridge who helped them continue with their hundred per cent win.

Chelsea Eden Hazard and Willian gave the Reds players some tough time today.

Below are Liverpool players ratings

Alisson Becker (8/10): The former Roma goalkeeper was great for Liverpool.

He made a one on one save against Eden Hazard.

Becker also moves to action to secure a poor pass from Georgino Wijnaldum.

Alex Trent (7/10): He had a tough time defending against Eden Hazard in the first half but regain his confidence in the second half.

Virgil van Dijk (8/10): Despite his rib injury, the Netherlands star was at his best for Liverpool.

Joe Gomez (7/10): the youngster still lacks the experience to play a big side like Chelsea but based on experience standards he tried.

Andrew Robertson (6/10): the left back found it difficult to play against Willian, who was visibly disturbing the Reds defense.

James Milner (7/10): the midfielder gave his best for the Reds through his speed and passes.

Georgino Wijnaldum (5/10): he almost gave the Blues a free goal but Alisson Becker managed the situation well.

Jordan Henderson (6/10): the midfielder made some good passes but was held down by the Blues defense.

Mo Salah (6/10): The Egyptian didn’t make much impact in the match. He seems to lack the confidence to play.

Roberto Firmino (7/10): the striker was quite hardworking, he was seen at the forefront trying to score.

Sadio Mane (6/10): The Senegal international seems to be worn out – He has not rested since the match against Chelsea in the Carabao League.

Substitute:

Xherdan Shaqiri (7/10): Shaqiri came in during the match to increase the level of energy in the players.

Daniel Sturridge (7/20): he gave the Blues their much-needed goal in the second half.

Naby Keita (6/10): the new midfielder was lost why playing against Chelsea.
