Arsene Wenger has made it known several times that results won’t influence his decision to stay at Arsenal or resign. However he should be fully conscious of the fact that a win against Chelsea at Wembley can ‘pacify’ Gunners fans to some extent.
On social media and almost everywhere else, Arsenal fans has been subjected to severe ridicule, especially by rival fans. For the first time in twenty years, the Emirate club failed to qualify for the Champions League – since the best they could offer this season could only make them finish at the fifth position on the premier league table.
Before yesterday, another top premier league club that was scorned publicly is Manchester United. But even though they finished sixth on the premier league table, Jose Mourinho eased United fans away from shame by wining them a major trophy last night at Stockholm, and getting them back into the Champions League.
Road To Wembley
As Arsene Wenger and his men looks forward to the final, there are some good news for Arsenal fans.
Injury Specialist Ben Dinnery recently revealed that Chilean international Alexis Sanchez is cleared to play the game and wing back Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also back in training ahead of the clash.
This latest development would translate into a bad news for Chelsea, as the premier league champions will have been hoping they won’t have to deal with the fantastic duo at Wembley.
If Arsenal should win the game, they will once again get ahead of United as the most successful FA Cup club.
