According to reports, premier league heavyweights Manchester United are ready to open talks with their current manager Jose Mourinho after his recent comments about French side PSG.
Mourinho sparked rumours recently by saying he could leave the Manchester side sooner than expected.
The former Chelsea boss admitted the Old Trafford side won’t be the last club he will manage while praising Paris Saint Germain.
The ‘special one’ joined Manchester United last summer and he helped the red devils with a Champions League ticket for this season.
He has been able to lead the club to a fantastic start to the new campaign but has only 18 months left on his current contract – though there is the option for an additional year.
And the Daily Mail made it known that the manager’s recent remarks about PSG seem to have brought about a new development at Old Trafford, and the board are now expected to begin talks over a new deal with him in the coming months.
It is understood that the club’s management are keen on keeping the Portuguese manager at Old Trafford long beyond when his current contract expires in 2019, and it was even suggested that there are plans for Mourinho to remain with the red devils for a decade – even though the ‘special one’ has never use four years with any of the clubs he has managed so far in his career.
