Arsenal to complete signing of 7-goal forward
North London side Arsenal are reportedly keen on completing the signing of Lille forward Jonathan Bamba when the winter transfer window reopens in coming weeks.
The fact that Danny Welbeck will not be available for a longer time due to an injury he suffered makes it mandatory for the Gunners to have a new face at the club in addition to the fact that the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have shown that they need a back-up going by their inconsistent performance.
Jonathan Bamba has shown he fits into the demands of the North London club by his impressive performance this season which means he could be heading to the Emirates Stadium when the transfer window opens.
The France international is already being loved by Gunners manager Unai Emery and he is believed to have given his nod to the club to go ahead by submitting a bid for the player.
Jonathan Bamba has scored a total of seven goals in 14 appearances in addition to an assist in Ligue 1.
The 22-year-old is tied to the French side until 2023 but there is no doubt that he will be asked to leave the club if the Gunners are ready to meet with his release clause of £35 million.
