struggling star
Manchester United star Anthony Martial has severely struggled to seal a regular berth in Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up this term, and this could now lead to a summer departure.
Super substitute
Martial, 22, has played 43 matches across all competitions this campaign, but the problem has been that the forward has majorly been played off the substitute bench to score 11 goals and created 10 assists.
After making such breakthrough after his transfer from French Ligue 1 side Monaco back in 2015, the France international he will surely be disappointed that he can’t cement himself as a regular starter, and that has led to the ongoing rumour over his United future.
According to the same report, Anthony Martial will cost about £60million if the Red Devil’s choose to offload him this summer transfer window, amid interest from PSG, Juventus and LA Liga side Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea also keen
Nevertheless, The Guardian now state that the youngster could also be eyed by 2017 premier League champions Chelsea as they are making contingency plans should Belgium superstar Eden Hazard leaves.
Finding the back of the net has been a problem at Chelsea this campaign, as the West London club have scored just 60 goals in 35 League matches.
