Chelsea prepare £120,000 a week deal for Tottenham star – report

Danny Rose

Chelsea are reportedly set to offer Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Rose a deal worth £120,000 weekly to tempt him away from the North London club this summer transfer window, as per British outlet Evening Standard.

British Tabloid Evening Standard is reporting that the Blues are ready to double the player’s wages but that the West Londoners are likely to find it hard to convince Tottenham to cash in on the defender this summer transfer window.

The same publication claim that Tottenham are not expected to consider any bids from the Blues for the England international defender.

Antonio Conte is in the market to strengthen his side this summer as the manager looks to adequately prepare his team for a return to the UEFA Champions League this season.

The same publication reports that the West Londoners have also had an offer for English man Danny Drinkwater rejected by Leicester City.

However, it is also believed that Chelsea will continue to negotiate with Leicester about the possibility of signing Drinkwater this summer.

Conte’s men are preparing to play Spurs in their next Premier League match at the Prestigious Wembley Stadium on Sunday as they attempt to return to winning ways.

The reigning Premier League Champions slump to a disappointing 3-2 loss at home to Burnley in their opening match of the season last Saturday as they had Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas red carded.
