Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez could be the determining factor for AC Milan in their pursuit of Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas.
AC Milan are strongly interested in the transfer of Spanish international midfielder Cesc Fabregas with widespread reports claiming that they have already offered the 31-year-old a two-and-a-half year contract until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Their chase for Fabregas is almost dependent on whether Chelsea can get a replacement for him when the winter transfer market reopens in the next few weeks which is where the aforementioned Denis Suarez comes in.
The Blues are keen on a transfer for the Barcelona player and are ready to splash a sizeable amount of money on him.
The 24-year-old is surplus to requirements at Barcelona as he has rarely featured for the Blaugrana.
AC Milan were also in the running for him but they have been priced out of a move for the Spaniard as it would take around €40m to secure his transfer on a permanent basis.
Chelsea can afford his transfer fee and a move for him will pave the way for Fabregas to join AC Milan according to the publication from popular Italian news outlet calciomercato.
A transfer fee of around €10m has been mooted for Fabregas.
Barcelona set gaze on Chelsea duo ..
Chelsea strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have reportedly made the five-man strikers’ shortlist for Spanish La Liga giant Barcelona.
The La Liga giants are eyeing a striker signing to replace Munir El-Haddadi who has joined fellow Spanish side, Sevilla.
Munir signed for Europa League campaigners Sevilla last week in a deal worth just £1.5m.
According to the Daily Mail, they claim that the Catalans have already drawn up a five-man shortlist to replace Munir.
The aforementioned Chelsea duo of Morata and Giroud made the list alongside West Ham United star Lucas Perez, Girona striker Christian Stuani and Tottenham Hotspur Fernando Llorente.
Barcelona are said to be targeting a loan move for the striker and that could rule out Morata.
Chelsea want a permanent transfer for the Spaniard who’s holding out for a move to Atletico Madrid following the imminent arrival of Gonzalo Higuain from Italy.
Tottenham Hotspur won’t be open to the idea of selling Llorente again following the injury to Harry Kane.
England national team skipper Kane will miss the next six weeks at least after he suffered a serious ankle injury in the Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday evening.
Harry Kane sustained the injury in the final moments of the game which ended in a 1-0 win for Manchester United.
Representatives Pushing For Barcelona Exit For Ex-Liverpool Playmaker
The representatives of Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho are reportedly pushing for an exit from the club for the player.
According to the Independent, Brazilian international star, Coutinho could leave the club this year with his camp holding out for a transfer out of Barcelona.
Former Inter Milan playmaker Coutinho has been the subject of intense transfer speculation dating back to last month after the Brazilian lost his spot in the Barcelona starting XI under the guidance of manager Ernesto Valverde.
Barcelona officials are keeping their cool over the transfer rumours with them still holding out hope that Coutinho will fulfill their expectations of him.
The 26-year-old is seen as the long-term replacement for Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta.
He has a Barcelona contract that does not run out until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Coutinho signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with Barcelona on joining the club from Premier League leaders Liverpool in a £142m deal.
With the transfer, Philippe Coutinho is the third most expensive transfer of all time behind the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Coutinho has scored four goals in just 10 starts in the Spanish La Liga since the start of the season.
Liverpool Not Interested In Re-signing Barcelona Star
Five-time European champions Liverpool are reportedly not interested in re-signing Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
The Daily Telegraph say that the Reds are not open to the idea of securing a return for the Brazilian international star.
Philippe Coutinho has been linked with an exit from Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona in this transfer window after failing to secure a spot in the Barcelona starting XI.
Manchester United have been heavily mentioned as a possible destination for him.
The former Inter Milan star signed for Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018.
The Catalans paid £142m for his transfer as he signed a five-and-a-half-year contract at the Nou Camp.
Coutinho is the third most expensive player in the history of world football behind 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe and compatriot Neymar who both play for French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
The Brazilian playmaker impressed for his country at last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia before they were knocked out by Brazil in their last eight clashes.
The 26-year-old has not been able to replicate that form in the colours of Barcelona this term with just 10 La Liga starts.
He has scored just four goals in the league this season in addition to the fact that he has started just one of the last five games in the Spanish La Liga.
Arsenal step closer to having Denis Suarez
English Premier League side Arsenal are reported to be close to agreeing on a deal with Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona over a deal for Denis Suarez.
The North London side are keen to land the superstar in this winter transfer window but a deal has been delayed as a result of the inability of both sides to agree in terms.
The fee for the Gunners is not an issue to discuss yet as they wish to land Denis Suarez on a loan deal before having talks for a permanent deal in the summer but the Spanish side are insistent that the player is allowed to leave on a permanent deal or remain.
However, the latest report reveals that Denis Suarez’s agent has come down to plea with the Spanish La Liga giants to let the star player leave the club,.
The agent wishes for more playing time for the star player which is not guaranteed at the Nuo Camp and that could be a major setback to his career.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have lost England international Danny Welbeck and will wish for Denis Suarez as a perfect replacement for him in their bid to secure a Champions League qualification with a top four finish.
Arsenal, Barcelona ready for talks to finalize deal
It has been reported that Arsenal and Barcelona will on Monday, meet to finalize on a deal that will have Denis Suarez join the Emirate Stadium in this winter transfer window.
The North London side have been linked with the player over time but a deal to have him switch have been delayed with the Spanish La Liga outfit not agreeing on terms with the Gunners.
The English Premier League side had made it clear that they are not interested in having a permanent deal this winter window but will rather wait until teh coming summer window.
The Gunners claimed to be open to loan deals with the view that it is finalized in the coming winter and same demand was made of the Barcelona man.
However, the latest report now claims both clubs will now meet on Monday to finalize negotiation so that the player can move in before the end of the winter window.
The Gunners are keen on the star player as they want him to replace departing Wales international Aaron Ramsey and England international Danny Welbeck who is injured and out of the season.
Should an agreement be reached between both parties, Denis Suarez would be announced as an Arsenal player before the end of the week.
Barcelona Back In The Hunt For Another Chelsea Star
Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have revived their interest in Chelsea winger Willian and are ready to offer one of their players in a bid to finally sign the Brazilian international star.
According to the Daily Mail, five-time European champions want to offer a player-plus-cash deal worth £50m.
It was revealed that the Catalans are willing to offer compatriot Malcom in their quest to sign Willian.
Barcelona tried to sign the 30-year-old Chelsea player three times last summer only for them to be repelled by the Premier League giants on each occasion.
Brazilian winger Malcom could leave Barcelona just six months after he signed for the Spanish La Liga club from French side Bordeaux at the start of the season.
The young winger was signed in controversial fashion after Barcelona hijacked his transfer from the Italian capital club AS Roma.
Serie A outfit Roma had agreed on a deal with Bordeaux for his transfer before Barcelona swoop in to sign him at the expense of their fellow Champions League campaigners.
Since his move to Barcelona, Malcom has failed to settle down at the club.
The 21-year-old has rarely featured for the Catalan giants this season with the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho ahead of him in the pecking order at the Nou Camp.
Liverpool Target To Join Barcelona This Summer
Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have won the race to sign young French defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
The 19-year-old will join the Catalans as a free transfer at the end of the season.
Jean-Clair Todibo is on the payroll of French Ligue 1 club Toulouse at the moment.
Todibo has been in superb form for his French Ligue 1 club since he broke into the first team since the start of the season.
His form led to interests from a lot of clubs on the European football scene.
Clubs like Italian Serie A champions Juventus as well as the Premier League sides like Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool.
The Reds were keen to sign the young centre back but it seems like the Merseyside giants have lost the battle for him to the Nou Camp giants.
Jean-Clair Todibo broke into the Toulouse starting XI at the start of the season as a direct replacement for former club skipper Issa Diop.
Issa Diop left the club for West Ham United last summer after the Hammers paid around £20m to secure his transfer.
Ex-Toulouse skipper Issa Diop has become a key player for West Ham United under the guidance of manager Mauricio Pellegrini since his move to the Olympic Stadium.
United in shock negotiation with Barcelona over Philippe Coutinho
Emerging reports from Spain reveal that English Premier League side Manchester United are already dipped in negotiation with Barcelona for the signature of former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
The Red Devils were only linked with the star player some days back but have made bold moves to enter into negotiation for a deal believed to be worth about £100 million.
Philippe Coutinho only left the Anfield for the Nuo Camp last year January and he is already unsettled having lost out of the team with most games on the bench.
The Brazilian international is now preferred after Ousmane Dembele which allegedly makes him frustrated and he might seek for a move away.
United are ready to hand him an escape route according to Caught Offside and they are reported to have gone ahead of Paris Saint Germain, Man City and Chelsea to secure his signature.
It is therefore not clear if the Spanish giants will be willing to let Philippe Coutinho leave at the moment as he is still a prized asset of the club, not minding the current happenings.
Should United succeed in their bid, Philippe Coutinho will return to the Premier League as a Red Devils and will face his former side, Liverpool.
Arsenal slam Barcelona over £14m demand for star player
It has been alleged that North London outfit Arsenal have told Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona that it will not pay £14 million fee for Denis Suarez in this winter transfer window.
It is no longer news that the Gunners are keen on the star player who is expected at the Emirates Stadium but they have been told they will have to meet the asking price or risk losing out on the player according to reports.
The North London side are seeking to replace England international Danny Welbeck who is out of the season due to injury and might not return as an Arsenal player.
On the other hand, Denis Suarez who had a fantastic loan spell under Gunners manager Unai Emery in his days at Spanish La Liga side Sevilla is struggling to make secure a starting role with the Spanish and he is keen to leave to where he would be able to fit in.
However, latest report claims the Gunners are ready to hand him an escape route but they will not meet with the asking price for the player, according to a Spanish journalist Edu Polo.
The journalist stated that there are only two choices for Denis Suarez which is to move to Arsenal or stay at Barcelona.
This Barcelona player could become world’s most expensive defender as top Premier League clubs want him
Reports emanating from Spain and England have it that Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti could become the world’s most expensive defender in January.
The world cup winner is being tracked by numerous Premier League clubs and the Catalans are not sure if they can prevent him from leaving Camp Nou this month.
In preparation for the Frenchman’s departure, the La Liga giants are said to have submitted an offer for Alavez defender Guillermo Marian.
The Chilean international is a prime target for Serie A side Roma but Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde believes his team stand a better chance of capturing Marian’s services as he wants him as Umtiti’s replacement.
As for Umtiti, the Daily Mirror claim that Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool a
Umtiti was heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford in the summer but a desperate Mourinho — who was eventually sacked by the club last month — couldn’t convince his employer to get the Frenchman.
Considering the huge demands for the player’s services, it is understood that Barcelona have placed a mammoth price tag on the player’s signature.
Of all the reported suitors, Emery and Solskjaer’s team should be more eager to capture his signature due to their current unimpressive record at the back of the pitch.
The Gunners have conceded 31 goals in 21 League games while United have allowed 32 goals after playing the same number of games as the North London club.
Liverpool, City and Chelsea are defensively doing fine at the moment and i see no reason why they are interested in Umtiti midway into the season.
