Chelsea and Man United to miss out signing of Inter Milan 25-year-old Striker

New report from the Italian Seria A league have made it known that two English football clubs of Chelsea and Manchester United have missed out of the race to sign Inter Milan striker, Mauro Icardi.

According to report Chelsea and Man United had hoped to catch in on the misunderstanding that has been going on between Mauro Icardi and Inter Milan over a contract extension.

However, recent report disclosed that the two sides have finally reached an agreement which will now see Mauro Icardi earn the sum of £5 million per year as against the previous £4 million per year.

With this new development, the 25-year-old striker has snubbed a move to Chelsea or Man United and will finally stay put at San Siro.

Mauro Icardi missed out of the World Cup in Russia as he was not a part of the Argentina squad that went for the tournament.

However, the 25-year-old striker remains one of the best in the Italian Seria A league.

With this in place, Chelsea will have to look elsewhere while Man United may have to intensify move for Paulo Dybala from Juventus.
