According to new reports, both Chelsea and Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Uruguay’s Under-18 star player Sebastian Caceres.
He currently captains the youth side and plays for Montevideo-based club Liverpool FC.
Caceres has been very much impressive recently and his interesting performances have seen him linked with a move to the Premier League.
The report also added that Liverpool with Chelsea are not the only ones interested in the highly-rated defender, but La Liga giants Barcelona have also been keeping tabs on him.
However, it is understood that the premier league duo of Chelsea and Liverpool have stepped up their interest in him by taking different steps this summer.
The Sun indicated that both English heavyweights have sent scouts to watch the talented youngster off the back of his strong start to his first-team career.
Recently, Sebastian had the chance to train with Dutch side Feyenoord. However, he remained with Liverpool Fútbol Club when the club failed to seal a deal for him.
It is very easy for the defender to seal a move away from Uruguay as he holds a Spanish passport and won’t be requiring a work permit.
Caceres is a bright talent with a bright future and is touted to become one of the best in the nearest future.
