Ahead of the summer transfer window, one player heavily linked with a move to Chelsea is Real Madrid star forward Alvaro Morata.

And right now, according to new reports, the English Premier League leaders are set to offer £63.7 Million to bring in the Spanish midfielder.

Chelsea’s Diego Costa has been heavily linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge club at the end of this season, and a replacement is urgently needed – considering that Chelsea is very likely to play in the Champions League next season.

A handful of top strikers has been linked with joining Chelsea to replace Costa – including Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

However, Chelsea Italian boss Antonio Conte is said to prefer Morata as both of them had worked together back then at Juventus.

Nevertheless, it appears Chelsea are not going to get the player so easy, as a host of top European clubs is also said to be interested in him – including Serie A giants AC Milan.

The two clubs are set to splash the huge cash, but the west London club reportedly feels confident to get his signature.

Alvaro has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Chelsea after his former manager at Juventus offered him regular first-team football if he should come over to Stamford Bridge.

Just last month, news from Spain and metro.co.uk also revealed that his girlfriend had already bought a house in London ahead of the upcoming switch.
