Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has pointed out the threat posed by the hostile environment of Rajko Milic Stadium ahead of their Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade FC of Serbia.
The Reds travel to face the Serbians in an all-important Group C clash in Europe’s premier cup competition.
Scotland international captain Robertson spoke about the Stadium atmosphere in the pre-match press conference for the game scheduled to take place on Tuesday night.
According to him, the Reds are no strangers to hostile atmospheres and that the Liverpool players are more than equipped to deal with the Rajko Milic Stadium crowd.
Liverpool need to win the game against the Serbians to edge closer to knockout stage qualification.
The Reds warmed up for the Champions League game with the 1-1 draw at the home of rivals Arsenal at the weekend.
The Reds were able to pick a point despite the fact that their hosts were the better of the two sides.
Liverpool took the lead after the hour mark through the impressive James Milner but the Reds could not hold on to that advantage after the home side earned a share of the spoils with the equaliser from French striker Alexandre Lacazette.
