Ramos will miss the rest of the La Liga games due to a knee sprain that occurred during the World Cup qualifying match between Spain and Albania. Spain captain Ramos, 30, was hurt late in the game after falling awkwardly following an aerial duel before he was eventually replaced by Inigo Martinez. “He has been diagnosed with a grade two sprain of the medial collateral knee ligament in the left knee. Real Madrid to pay 18 Million Euros from Illegal Land Deal
The European Union has mandated Real Madrid to pay 18.4 million euros in alleged illegal aid from a land deal. “We are going to file an appeal, and I am absolutely convinced we will win,” Real president Florentino Perez told a press conference. In 1998, the club paid the city 595,000 euros for the land but the deal ultimately fell through because of technical problems.
