This Bad News For Man United Is Good News For Tottenham

It is not yet certain if the Manchester United duo of Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford will feature for their team when they clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in the premier league, following reports that the club will wait until the last minute before making decisions on their availability.

The duo picked up knocks during the last game against Swansea City in the League Cup on Tuesday night, and were taken off before full-time.

Marcus pulled up after a sprint and was substituted after he lamented of a tightness in his hamstring, while Ander, on the other hand, received a knock on his ankle.

Jose Mourinho is playing an important game on Saturday against an in-form Tottenham side at Old Trafford, and the Portuguese boss can not afford to lose more top players to injury, with the likes of Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini still out of action.

And it was made known that the former Chelsea manager will wait until late on Friday before making a decision on both Rashford and Herrera.

Jose is currently experiencing some tough time at Old Trafford despite starting this season impressively. If Herrera isn’t fit to play against Mauricio Pochettino’s side on Saturday, it means Nemanja Matic will be the only central midfielder available for him.

Jose needs all three points from the game to keep his title hopes alive this season.
