English Premier League outfit Arsenal are reportedly set to raid Portugal topflight FC Porto of star player Hector Herrera in this winter transfer window which is still ongoing.
This is according to a report from Tutto Mercato Web in Italy which claims that the North London side are keen to have more additions with a midfielder among the club’s priority.
Hector Herrera has impressed for his FC Porto side and that is why he has got a number of interests lined up for him from top European teams. The likes of AS Roma, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Wolves are all looking to secure the signature of the star player as they all seek to seal a deal before the end of this window.
The North London side will, therefore, make efforts to ensure they win the strong competitions from the other suitors lined up for Hector Herrera.
However, Hector Herrera is expected to serve as a replacement for departing Wales international Aaron Ramsey as the club seek to bring in a cover even before he leaves.
The former Cardiff City man is set to leave as a free player at the end of the season after failing to agree on a new deal with the club.
