The January winter transfer window is just two days to its end and the English Premier League outfit Arsenal are yet to seal any deal despite the big need.
It has been hinted that the club are struggling with finance and they will not be doing any major transfer dealings in this winter window. Some efforts were made, especially for Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona winger Denis Suarez.
The club have insisted that they will only see to a permanent deal while the Gunners are only willing to have him on a loan deal with an option to buy permanently in the summer window.
However, Gunners manager Unai Emery has admitted that the club are not in the right financial state to secure any major deals in this window but made it clear that the financial restriction will not be in place after the season.
According to him, the club do not believe in the winter transfer window, claiming that it is not the best window to secure the signature of good players but he has been assured that it would be good in the summer window.
It is, however, not unclear how the Gunners wish to survive the second half of the season, knowing that they have lost the likes of Danny Welbeck, Sokratis Papastathopoulous, Laurent Koscielny, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin to injuries.
