According to reports, Arsenal are facing a very worrying couple of months as England star Jack Wilshere is the latest player said to be considering departing next summer.

German Mesut Ozil and Chilean Alexis Sanchez have dominated the media for months given that their respective Arsenal contracts also expire less than 12 months from now and there is no sign that a new deal is close.

Reports indicate on Sunday that Ozil is considering a departure and wants to join Premier League rival Manchester United.

The situation for Jack Wilshere is similar, and The Sun claim that not only did the 25-year-old midfielder turn down a contract offer from the Gunners this past summer, but that he also has plans to leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of this current football season when his deal expires.

As per the same publication, the England international midfielder remains annoyed that he was loaned out to AFC Bournemouth last campaign and has questioned if or not he realistically has a career at the North London club under manager Arsene Wenger.

The transfer saga could change in the coming weeks and months, with the England star now fit for selection for Arsenal, while his popularity with fans has never faded having come through Arsenal’s youth system.
