Antonio Conte Favorite To Seal £35M Deal In The Next 48 Hours

Juventus star player Leonardo Bonucci has emerged as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe following his impressive performances at the club. The talented defender has been linked with clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City, and AC Milan.

In a recent development however, it appears AC Milan have beaten everyone to the race for the player following reports that the Italy international is ready to make a switch to the Italian club in the next 48 hours.

The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea and the Blues Italian boss Antonio Conte is understood to be a big fan of the defender.

Earlier today, his agent Alessandro Lucci has confirmed that talks over an exit have begun and he told the press that a sale is being worked on.

The Champions League finalists are set to allow him to leave this summer after he revealed his desire to leave Turin in January, and won’t mind collecting as little as £35M for the player.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, AC Milan are on the verge of sealing a £35million deal for the highly-rated defender.

It was added that personal terms have already been agreed between the player and the club and that he is set to sign a €6million-a-year deal.

Bonucci has won six Serie A titles in a row with the old ladies and is interested in trying out something different, but targets staying in Italy.
