Alvaro Morata

Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata hailed Eden Hazard as ‘world class’ after both players combined pretty well to help the reigning Premier League champions record a remarkable win over Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid. Summer signing Alvaro Morata scored his seventh goal for the Blues, heading into the back of the net from Eden Hazard’s cross to level the scoreline, before Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi struck a 94th-minute winning goal to condemn the La Liga side to a first loss at their new Stadium -Wanda Metropolitano.

Eden Hazard’s recuperation from an ankle surgery had meant Chelsea’s record signing has had limited Chances to play alongside Blues’ most skilful forward up until now, but signs are very encouraging for boss Antonio Conte and Alvaro Morata expects their partnership to yield good results. ‘It is easy playing with a (brilliant) player like Eden (Hazard),’ Alvaro Morata told BT Sport.

Morata admitted Hazard is one of the best players in world football, and count himself very lucky to play with the Belgian. Morata, however, stressed the importance of winning games, securing the three maximum points that are possible.

He said that the victory over Atletico was very important for the team because the match was a very important test for the Blues.
