Paul Scholes

Manchester United legend has stated that Alexis Sanchez is not the player fit to represent the club because of his style of play.

It is not alone that Sanchez has not lived up to expectation since joining United from Arsenal, he has been described as a selfish player who lacks team spirit.

Sanchez has continued to live in his shadows for the Old Trafford with his poor form as he was known to be a better player at the Emirates Stadium.

Scholes maintained that despite being a great player with good qualities, Sanchez has never played the United pattern, noting that it has contributed to him not firing this season.

According to him, the Chile international lacks the teamwork and spirit as he always wanted to play for himself to be satisfied.

Scholes, therefore, lamented how difficult it is to have Sanchez sold at the moment because of his wage bills and clause on him having been made the club’s highest earner.

Sanchez joined the Red Devils from Arsenal in a deal that had Henrikh Mkhitaryan move the opposite direction.

From indication, the Gunners have benefitted more from the deal with the former United player making more impact than the Chilean.
