BBC journalist and ardent supporter of the North London club Arsenal David Ornstein has given the latest development on what the winter transfer window holds for Arsenal and contract rebel, Aaron Ramsey.

According to him, the Gunners have not got enough funds to involve in the winter transfer window but will do some business by working out some loan buys.

David Ornstein, therefore, stated that while there will be some additions in the winter window, the North London side will have enough funds in the summer window to challenge ahead of next season.

However, David Ornstein hinted that the focus for the loan deals will be the defence because of the little options available at the moment which could go a long way in affecting the club’s bid to qualify for next’s season’s Champions League.

Meanwhile, he revealed also that Gunner’s contract rebel and Wales international Aaron Ramsey will now be free to talks to clubs who are interested in his signature ahead of next season.

He added that five clubs are expected to hold talks with the former Cardiff player in January in a bid to agree on a deal in principle ahead of the summer transfer window.
