According to a report by Italian publication Calciomercato, Premier League Champions Chelsea could receive an offer for one of their attacking midfielder in the New Year from Italian Serie A giant AC Milan.
Brazil international winger Willian is the subject of this likely transfer talk in the winter transfer window as Serie A heavyweights AC Milan wants to reinforce their ranks.
The Rossoneri spent really huge to build their squad last summer signing big players like Franck Kessie, Loenardo Bonucci, Hakan Calhanoglu, Andre Silva, Andrea Conti and Ricardo Rodriguez as well as bringing in Italian Fabio Borini on loan from English side Sunderland with the possibility of making the transfer permanent.
However, match results and game performances have not been impressive and tactician Giampiero Ventura has identified a number of transfer targets to help improve the job he started in the summer.
Willian, who has dropped down the pecking order seems to top the wish list, and with the Blues keen on signing Paris Saint Germain’s Lucas Moura, a move for the Chelsea winger might materialize in the winter.
The winger is currently struggling to seal a starting place in manager Antonio Conte’s squad at the moment with the former Juventus boss preferring Spain forward Pedro on the right flank.
